The processing times for passport applications have been extended for UK passport holders in Ecuador

The time it takes to process passport applications from UK passport holders in Ecuador has increased. The waiting times are now as follows: 8 weeks to renew a passport; 10 weeks to replace a lost or stolen passport and12 weeks to apply for a first time applicant.
UK passport holders in Ecuador have to apply for or renew their passports via the new online service. The online service will guide you through each stage of the application process according to your personal circumstances. It will provide full details of where to send the application, and which supporting documents are needed. You will then need to print off and sign parts of the application.
Payment must be made online – a range of credit and debit cards are accepted.
