Are you looking to take your business overseas but not sure how to protect your intellectual property (IP) rights? Or do you represent businesses and want to hear about the latest developments in global IP systems? Then sign up to attend one of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) roving seminars, to be held at three locations across the UK.

In this one off series of events, senior representatives from WIPO will lead discussions on the international protection of IP rights. The half day events will provide an introduction to WIPO services and initiatives, including;

  • international systems for the protection of IP rights
  • alternative dispute resolution
  • infrastructure for the exchange of IP information

There’ll also be opportunities for discussions with the IPO and local business representatives.

Dates and venues for the three seminars are:

  • 6 October 2014: British Library, London
  • 8 October 2014: Central Library, Manchester
  • 9 October 2014: Mitchell Library, Glasgow
