The work will start on Monday, 8 June and be carried out over four nights in the central reservation of the M32. In the interests of safety this means a full road closure while the electricity is disconnected.

The M32 northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed from 8pm to 6am each night with the last closure on Thursday night through to Friday morning.

Diversions will be as follows:

M32 Southbound

Traffic on the M32 southbound will be diverted off the M32 via the southbound exit slip at junction 2, turn right on to Muller Road and follow until traffic gets to the A38 where traffic will turn left. Traffic will then continue to follow the A38 until they get to the centre of Bristol. Traffic joining the M32 via the south bound entry slip road will be diverted via Muller Road, A38 in to Bristol.

M32 Northbound

Traffic will be diverted to take the A4032 into Bristol then along Bond Street to St James Barton Roundabout, then follow the A38 north (Cheltenham and Gloucester Rd) to the B4469 Muller Rd, then along Muller Road back to the M32 J2. Local traffic wishing to access the M32 via Mina Rd will be directed onto the diversion via Sevier St, Magdalene Pl and Lower Ashley Rd.
