Update to Independent Water Commission Advisory Group
Additional member appointed to Independent Water Commission Advisory Group
Douglas Millican, former CEO of Scottish Water (2012 – 2023), has been appointed by Sir Jon Cunliffe as an additional member to the Independent Water Commission Advisory Group.
He brings direct operational experience from the water industry to the group, alongside the expertise represented from areas including the environment, public health, consumers, infrastructure and investors.
Before joining the water sector, Douglas worked with Price Waterhouse in the UK and New Zealand.
The Independent Water Commission published its eight week Call for Evidence last month.
Sir Jon Cunliffe will provide final recommendations to both UK and Welsh governments in the summer.
