The remains were discovered in June by the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains during a search and have now been positively identified as those of Seamus Wright and Kevin McKee, two of the Disappeared.

Ms Villiers said:

The identification of Seamus Wright and Kevin McKee’s remains will no doubt bring mixed emotions, and I want to extend my sympathies to both families at this time.
