Villiers on talks - some fundamental issues still to be resolved
Statement by Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Theresa Villiers at the close of the latest week of talks
The Secretary of State said:
We have had another intensive week of negotiations.
Progress has been made but some fundamental issues are still to be resolved. We remain hopeful that an agreement can be achieved.
Discussions continue and we will be back at Stormont first thing on Monday morning.
