Voting has now opened to crown the National Apprenticeship Awards Rising Star of the Year 2019, with nine outstanding apprentices from across England vying for votes to win the coveted title.

Showcasing apprentices who have made impressive progress in their career to date, the Lloyds Banking Group Award for Rising Star of the Year recognises apprentices demonstrating potential, through their apprenticeship, to reach the very top of their chosen profession. The national winner will be revealed at England’s biggest apprenticeship awards ceremony, to be held in November in London.

Throughout September nine regional winners were announced, and they will now go head to head to be crowned the national winner at the 16th annual National Apprenticeship Awards.

Emilia Hoyle from Heat Trace Ltd

Keith Smith, Director of Apprenticeships, Education and Skills Funding Agency said:

All nine regional winners are outstanding examplars of apprentice success. I can see such potential in all nine and I am delighted to see the broad range of sectors they represent. Their employers clearly recognise the importance of growing their own talent with apprenticeships, with their apprentices making such a significant contribution to their workplace.

Collectively, all of the Rising Star national finalists are testament to the brilliance of apprentices and the opportunity apprenticeships bring to the lives of individuals.

Voting couldn’t be easier and is open now. Please do vote and get behind these nine outstanding apprentices to crown the Rising Star of 2019.
