Secretary of State for Wales Cheryl Gillan has welcomed news of the Royal engagement and the announcement that the newlyweds will live in north Wales as Prince William continues to serve at RAF Valley on Anglesey.
Mrs Gillan said: “The whole of Wales will be wishing Prince William and Kate Middleton every happiness for the future as they plan to start married life together in north Wales.
“It’s wonderful news that the Prince will be bringing his new bride to live in Wales. I’m sure the Royal couple will enjoy living in north Wales as much as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall cherish the time they spend at their Welsh home at Llwynywermod in Carmarthenshire.”
