The Academy for Social Justice Commissioning identifies, supports and promotes excellence in social justice commissioning.
We now have over 3,400 members from the public, private, academic and voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors.
Who we are
Our Peterborough-based business manager Janet Cullinan is the only member of staff. Our business objectives are set by the academy strategy group.
Responsibilities
We are responsible for:
- strengthening the reputation of social justice commissioning by driving up standards and increasing value for money
- identifying and sharing good practice in social justice commissioning
- providing learning and development opportunities for social justice commissioners and actively encouraging networking and debate
- strengthening links with other commissioning stakeholders through active networking, collaboration and partnership working
