Details of Cefas' governance structure
Quarterly performance reports, risk assessments and other management information flow from Cefas to Defra, and are appropriately reported to the Defra Supervisory Board. The Chief Executive and Accounting Officer has personal responsibility and accountability to Parliament for the organisation and quality of management within Cefas, including its use and stewardship of public assets. In delivering this role, the Chief Executive is supported and challenged by the CMB (the Board).
