Welsh language scheme
How we take account of Welsh language needs when we provide services to the public in Wales.
The Welsh Language Act 1993 requires all public bodies to prepare and adopt a Welsh language scheme. This scheme explains what the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) does to make sure the English and Welsh languages are treated equally when we provide public services in Wales.
There are additional materials available in Welsh. These materials include translations of previous Civil Nuclear Constabulary Police Authority (CNCPA) Annual Reports & Accounts and Strategic Plans as well as general information sheets. Please contact the Civil Nuclear Constabulary for electronic copies or further enquiries regarding our Welsh Language Scheme on 01235 466 606 or see the contact us section on our homepage.
