About us
Consumer Futures (formerly Consumer Focus), an executive non-departmental public body of BIS, represented consumers across regulated markets. It was abolished on 1 April 2014, with all its functions transferred to other bodies ([Citizens Advice](http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk), [Citizens Advice Scotland](http://www.cas.org.uk) and [General Consumer Council for Northern Ireland](http://www.consumercouncil.org.uk)).
