Department for Science, Innovation and Technology was replaced by Cabinet Office, Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, and Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) existed until 2026. Its responsibilities were split across the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST), the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Cabinet Office.
