Procurement at DVSA
How we buy goods and services, and how you can work with us.
What we do
Our procurement unit makes sure that we get value for money in everything we buy. We do this by identifying the best methods of buying and contracting for a wide range of goods and services.
This is done in 2 stages:
- advertising, tendering and awarding of contracts
- monitoring the performance of suppliers and the quality of goods and services supplied
What we’re buying
We use the Crown Commercial Service framework agreements for much of our sourcing activities.
Find out how to register, where to look for opportunities and how bidding works.
When no established framework agreement exists, we advertise all procurement opportunities via:
- the contracts finder - where the value of the procurement opportunity is above £10,000
- the find a tender service - where the value of the procurement opportunity is above procurement thresholds
Guidance for our suppliers
