Government Skills was created in September 2020.
Government Skills ensures the Civil Service invests in the skills needed now and in the future by building a culture of continuous learning and offering targeted training. Our accessible, easy-to-navigate curriculum supports every civil servant to nurture and hone their skills by taking ownership of their own development.
Through a standardised skills taxonomy, new digital skills portal and robust evaluation framework we take a data-driven approach to ensure that training is having a positive impact, resulting in better policy making and better public services for the country.
