About us
The National Leadership Centre closed in March 2022. Its work continues under the Leadership College for Government.
The National Leadership Centre has now closed and its work has become part of the Leadership College for Government.
We deliver:
- a leadership programme for around 100 public service leaders each year
- national and regional events for chief executive-level public servants
- research that helps us understand the impact good leadership has on productivity
The National Leadership Centre was created by the government in 2018 to help leaders across the whole public sector work together better.
This makes them more productive and better able to cope with increasing pressure on our public services.
It also helps leaders at the highest level feel less isolated.
Our board is made up of leading figures from every part of the public sector.
