The Office for Investment (OfI) works across government to land top-tier investment into the UK. The OfI is a joint unit of HM Treasury, the Department for Business and Trade, and Number 10.
The Office for Investment (OfI) works to promote the UK to investors and businesses around the world, and to attract investment into the UK.
In October 2024, the Prime Minister announced a bolstered Office for Investment, which will be led by the Minister for Investment, Poppy Gustafsson, to strengthen the government’s offer and partnership with businesses and investors.
The OfI will be a joint unit of HM Treasury, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), and Number 10.
Further details on the expanded OfI will be set out in due course. Businesses working with DBT or the OfI should continue to work with their regular point of contact.
