The Office for Investment (OfI) is a joint unit of HM Treasury, the Department for Business and Trade, and Number 10. We source and secure transformational investment to drive growth, job creation, and increased productivity across the UK.
The Office for Investment (OfI) sits at the heart of government. We identify and secure high-impact investment that supports the UK’s strategic priorities – driving sustainable growth, creating quality jobs, and boosting productivity across regions.
We are a team of around 200 staff in the UK with expertise drawn from across the private sector, central and regional government. We also have teams on the ground in 25 priority markets.
We are led by the Minister for Investment, Jason Stockwood. Jason was appointed in September 2025.
