About us
The Online Procedure Rule Committee was set up under the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022 to make rules governing the practice and procedure for specific types of online court and tribunal proceedings across the Civil, Family and Tribunal jurisdictions.
Membership
The rules of committee membership are set out in Section 22 of the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022. The committee is chaired by the Master of the Rolls, Head of Civil Justice. All non-judicial members are appointed, in accordance with the Office of the Commission for Public Appointment’s Code of Practice.
