Modern slavery statement
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) adheres to the overarching governmental modern slavery statement, published by the Home Office.
The UK’s transparency in supply chains legislation, under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, required certain large businesses with a turnover of £36 million or more to publish annual modern slavery statements, setting out how they are reducing modern slavery in their operations and supply chains.
From 2021 onwards, the Home Office changed their approach with a decision made to publish an overarching governmental modern slavery statement.
As an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), UKHSA will adhere to this statement, which was published on 18 September 2023.
