The UK National Authority for Counter Eavesdropping (UK NACE) protects national security by providing Technical Security expertise to the government and the critical national infrastructure (CNI). We provide leadership for the technical security profession across government.
Who we are
UK NACE is the UK’s National Technical Authority for technical security and, as part of the Government Security Function, are recognised by the Investigatory Powers Act. Their mission is to detect, defend and deter against acts of technical espionage directed at UK Government and critical national infrastructure (CNI) assets.
What we do
UK NACE works with wider UK Government, CNI and wider international partners to help keep the nation’s classified assets safe. They conduct research on innovative technology by engaging with academia. They lead on the production of technical threat assessment products and close collaborate across UK Government and international partners to provide operational services.
