The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) has closed. It’s been replaced by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
DVSA services and information
These services are now provided by DVSA:
- MOT and vehicle testing
- vehicle approval
- check for vehicle, part or accessory recalls
- report a lorry, bus or coach driver or company
You can also use other services and information from DVSA.

- apply for a vehicle operator licence
- manage your vehicle operator licence

History of VOSA
VOSA was an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Transport.
It existed from 3 April 2003 to 31 March 2014.
VOSA merged with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to create DVSA.
