Biography
Abena Oppong-Asare was appointed Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office on 9 July 2024. She was elected as the MP for Erith and Thamesmead in December 2019.

- National security, resilience, and civil contingencies, including:
- Integrated Security Fund
- Transparency policy, correspondence policy, and Freedom of Information
- Supporting the Minister for the Cabinet Office on Inquiries policy and constitution
