Aimee Symonds
Biography
Aimee Symonds took on the role of Director of People and Place in February 2023 having joined Companies House in June 2020 as the Head of Human Resources.
Aimee has over 20 years of experience in the public sector, working across a range of people practices to support engaged, high-performing workforces.
Before joining Companies House, Aimee held a number of roles in the Intellectual Property Office and a secondment at Audit Wales.
Director of People
The Director of People oversees the departments responsible for:
- creating an employee experience and brand that attracts and retains critical skills
- human resources (HR) operations
- internal communications and engagement organisational development and design including learning and development and continuous improvement
- estates strategy
