Alex Reeves
Biography
Alex Reeves is a Non-Executive Member of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) Board.
Alex is a Director at UK Government Investments (UKGI), where he currently leads on inward Mergers and Acquisitions and other corporate finance projects, as well as running UKGI’s Non-Executive Director Forum. Alex also has oversight of the UKGI shareholder team for the National Nuclear Laboratory.
Prior to joining UKGI, Alex spent over ten years in corporate advisory and investment banking roles focused on the financial services sector, most recently in the FIG M&A Team at Jefferies in London. Alex was a Non-Executive Director of London & Continental Railways Limited from 2018 to 2021.
Alex is a co-opted member of the Investment Committee of the Charity for Civil Servants.

Non-Executive Directors are members of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s Board.
The Board:
- monitors the NDA’s performance and directs its business effectively, including playing an active role in stakeholder relations
- receives frequent updates on the NDA’s financial position, forecasts and sensitivities
- ensures that a balanced assessment of performance is reported to the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and regularly debates the main (corporate strategic) risks facing the NDA
