Her Honour Judge Alison Raeside

Biography

Judge Alison Raeside was called to the Bar in 1982 and practiced in civil law in London.  She became a District Judge in 2000. She was appointed to the Circuit Bench in 2011, specialising in family law, and was the Designated Family Judge for Surrey from 2019 until 2024. She was  a tutor for the judicial college for over 10 years and served two terms on the Family Procedure Rules Committee. She continues to sit in Surrey on family cases.
