Alison Rodwell
Biography
In October 2024, Alison was appointed as a non-executive director at Sellafield Ltd, chairing the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
Alison holds a portfolio of non-executive roles, most recently as a non-executive committee member at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero and as a non-executive director and audit committee chair at a large acute NHS Hospital Trust.
Alison’s career has spanned the private, public and charity sectors which has given her a breadth of experience from strategy and governance to transformation and stakeholder engagement.
After a successful career in the energy sector at Shell, Alison founded a start-up, working with high street retailers, to transform the sustainability of the cotton in our clothes.
Alison is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and graduated in Physics and Materials Science from Cambridge University.
She is a Fellow of the RSA and a STEM Ambassador, encouraging more children to study “STEM” - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
