Angela Henderson
Biography
Angela Henderson is a non-executive director with more than 25 years’ experience in the financial sector.
A solicitor who specialised in corporate law before moving into the markets divisions of Deutsche Bank and later Barclays, Angela has spent almost 10 years as a non-executive. She contributes practical experience of strategy development and performance oversight, governance and board effectiveness, risk management, financial acumen and business development and a strong interpersonal and collaborative style.
Angela is a board member at Macquarie Capital (Europe) Limited where she is the Risk Committee Chair, an independent non-executive director at both Hargreave Hale AIM VCT plc and Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc and a beneficiary-nominated trustee of CW+ (a London hospital charity).
Angela’s previous appointments include member of the Council of Governors of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and independent non-executive director and risk committee chair of Credit Suisse Asset Management Limited, as well as a range of non-executive roles with companies and organisations at various stages of maturity in the asset management, technology, public and not-for-profit sectors.
