Mr. Angus McKee
Biography
Mr Angus McKee OBE has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Mali in succession to Ms Katy Ransome. He will take up his appointment during January 2025. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2000 as a Research Analyst for the Middle East and North Africa. He has previously served in several roles in the UK and overseas, including as Deputy Head of Mission in Damascus, HM Consul-General to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Deputy Head of Mission in Tripoli, and Head of the FCDO’s Intelligence Policy Department. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies (2017)
