Biography

Caroline has spent the last six years leading high performing operation directorates in a range of organisations, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at the Northern Ireland Office, the UK Covid Inquiry and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.

Before moving into operations, Caroline led health and social policy in a range of organisations, including the Care Quality Commission, where she advised Ministers and senior leaders on issues such as mental health crisis care, learning disabilities and substance misuse.

Having worked in organisations dealing with mental health and child sexual abuse, Caroline is committed to ensuring organisations are run with empathy, and is passionate about being people-focused, ensuring her teams are actively supported to deliver their best.
