Catherine Wright

Biography

Catherine was the interim Executive Director of Flood and Coastal Risk Management for the Environment Agency between December 2020 and April 2021. She has been at the Environment Agency for more than 20 years in a wide range of operational roles:

  • water quality planning
  • marine
  • waste regulation

Catherine joined the Flood and Coastal Risk Management team in 2016. She has held various executive manager roles in:

  • Data, Knowledge and Innovation
  • Monitoring and Assessment
  • Better Regulation
  • Water Resources Regulation and Evidence
