Clara Swinson was appointed Director General for Global Health in November 2016.

- Deputy Director, Cross Government Obesity Team
- Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Health
- Health account manager, Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit
Director General, Global and Public Health
Part of the Department of Health and Care’s senior team, the Director General is responsible for leading work on the public health system, on healthy behaviours and the COVID-19 Inquiry with our work on emergency preparedness, health protection and global health.
