Clare Pillman

Biography

Clare Pillman has been a director at DCMS since March 2011.

Clare joined the civil service in 1992. Since then, she’s spent time at the Treasury and the Department for Constitutional Affairs as well as DCMS. Career highlights include:

  • 3 years as Area Director for Her Majesty’s Court Service (HMCS) (Wales), 2004 to 2007
  • Chair of the North Wales Local Criminal Justice Board, 2004 to 2007
  • Director of HMCS (Wales), 2007 to 2011
  • Trustee of the North Wales Building Preservation Trust since 2012
