Clive Martin
Biography
Clive joined HMT in May 2022 as Head of the Government Risk Profession. Clive was at EY for 17 years (the last 9 of which were as a Partner) where among other responsibilities he led the development of client-facing risk management practices, ran a digital learning & communication business, and had overall responsibility for everything the firm did for some major financial services clients in London, New York and Zurich.
After graduating in Risk Management in 1990, Clive took risk management roles at WillisTowersWatson and The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. More recently, prior to joining HMT, he worked on the strategic development of risk management in a global hospitality business, undertook regulatory-driven reviews of risk management effectiveness in several companies and was Transformation Risk Leader on a major digital transformation of an insurance business.
