David Clark
Biography
David joined the Nuclear Restoration Services Ltd Board on 1 June 2024 as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
David holds a degree in electrical & electronic engineering from Strathclyde University and began his career with Schlumberger (now slb), with operational and management positions across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Following executive roles at Wood, where he established an grew the Middle East business as CEO and director of a regional JV and at Aker Solutions, initially as President of UK & Africa and as EVP for the newly created global Service Division. In November 2020, David led the carve out of the Lloyd’s Register energy division, to private equity investors, to create Vysus Group, where he was CEO. Following the successful divestments of five, non-core business lines, David stepped down as CEO in May 2024 and remains a Non-Executive Director of Vysus Group.
David is also a Non-Executive Director of the EIC (Energy Industries Council) and has been active in supporting the UK energy sector, including a period as NED at OGUK (now OEUK) and as a member of various government led workgroups and industry initiatives.
David is Chair of the Company’s Projects and Programmes Committee and a member of the Safety, Security Health & Environment Committee.
