David MacLeod

Biography

David MacLeod is a non-executive director of the Department for International Development (DFID) and of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).

He is a visiting professor of the Cass Business School and a fellow of the Ashridge Business School and Sunningdale Institute. He is also an associate of the Institute for Government.

Previous career highlights include:

• being Head of Marketing for the Dulux brand
• being CEO of Uniqema, a Global ICI business
• working in the Cabinet Office for a year and a half
• co-authoring a book called ‘The Extra Mile’ on the theme of how to engage your team to win
• co-authoring the MacLeod Report to Government, called ‘Engaging for Success’
