Debbie Jones

Biography

Debbie joined Ofsted as Director, Social Care and Regional Director, London in September 2013. Her previous professional experience includes:

• Executive Director, Children and Young People’s Service, Lambeth Council
• President, Association of Directors of Children’s Services, 2012 to 2013
• Corporate Director, Children and Learning, Luton Council
• Interim Director, Children’s Services, Stoke on Trent City Council
• Acting Director, Social Care and Health, Durham County Council

Debbie is also a qualified social worker with extensive experience in children’s services. She has a Masters in Public Sector Management.
