Emily Cowley is Head of UK government office for San Diego, responsible for political, economic and trade relationships between the UK and San Diego with active focus in the aligned priorities between the two. Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and French and a master’s degree in Psychology and subsequently went onto work in international higher education partnership development. Emily has been in the Head of UK government office post since March 2023 and currently sits on the board of the San Diego chapter of the British Business Corporation.
