Gerry Skelton
Biography
Gerry joined High Speed Two (HS2) as HR Director in May 2017 and is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the strategic people strategy of HS2. Gerry’s key areas of focus are to ensure that the necessary people processes, workforce planning and talent development capabilities of HS2 are in place to support the successful delivery of the project.
Gerry’s experience is in building high performance capability, resilience and business excellence through ensuring the right balance of skills, equality, diversity and capabilities are in place to enable delivery.
Gerry was previously HR Director for NATS Ltd, the international air traffic control and airspace design company. His experience also includes roles as HR Director of EWS Railway Ltd and European HR Director of DB Schenker Rail.
