Giles Enticknap MBE

Biography

Giles joined the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in 2004. He has served in various diplomatic Posts overseas, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, and Mauritania. He has also worked for the United Nations and the European External Action Service. In 2013 he was awarded an MBE by HM The Queen for services to British foreign policy.

The High Commissioner is the UK government’s representative in a Commonwealth nation. They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
