Hannah was appointed as a non-executive director of the SIA in March 2025.
Career
Hannah has 20 years’ experience in community safety, security, and crime prevention, with a proven track record of delivering strategic change and building collaboration between government, police, businesses, and communities.
As CEO of Safer Business Network, Hannah leads efforts to improve public safety through intelligence-led partnerships, training, and community engagement. Under her leadership, the organisation has worked extensively with high streets, small businesses, and the private security sector, ensuring that front line staff, security officers, customer service teams, and venue staff are equipped with the confidence, skills and resources to enhance public safety.
A passionate advocate for reducing violence against women and girls and improving safeguarding, Hannah has led national campaigns tackling vulnerability. These include WAVE (Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement), Ask for Angela and Spiking Awareness, and the Mayor of London’s Women’s Night Safety Charter, initiatives that have driven cultural change and improved safety standards.
