Henry Bellingham

Biography

Henry Bellingham was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office from May 2010 until September 2012. He was elected Conservative MP for North West Norfolk on 7 June 2001 and from 9 June 1983 to 1 May 1997.

Education

Henry was educated at Eton and Magdalene College, Cambridge where he studied law.

He was MP for North West Norfolk between 1983 and 1997 and was re-elected in 2001.

Career outside politics

Henry graduated in 1977 and worked as a barrister. Before being re-elected as an MP in 2001, he ran his own consultancy practice specialising in advising firms on inward investment.

Personal Life

Henry is married with one son.
