Iain Anderson
Biography
Iain Anderson is a Founding Partner Investor and Executive Chairman of H/Advisors Cicero. He has over 30 years’ experience as board-level counsel for some of the world’s leading business and not-for-profit organisations.
In 2024, Iain led the independent review ’A New Partnership’ exploring a long-term plan for how industry and government can work together.
Iain believes passionately in workplace opportunity and was appointed as the UK’s first ever LGBTQ+ Business Champion by the UK government in 2021. He is also a:
- non-executive director of Innovate Finance – the members body for the global fintech sector
- non-executive member of the Court of the University of St Andrews
He serves on the City of London Corporation Competitiveness Advisory Board and is one of the Financial Times Global 100 LGBTQ Executives and the Financial Times Allies of Women in Business.
Iain worked initially as a business journalist and then as a founding shareholder at Incisive Media. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) and is a Freeman of the City of London.
He has served on the:
- International Advisory Board of the Institute of Business Ethics
- Advisory Board of the Queen Elizabeth II Garden in New York
