Biography

Jackie Atkinson has been Director of Authorisations at the VMD since 2007. Previously she was head of the quality assessment team.

Jackie’s experience as a pharmacist includes 2 years working in a regulatory affairs department for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and 4 years formulating and manufacturing products for a human pharmaceutical company.

Jackie is a past vice chair of the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use’s quality working party. She was made a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in 2010.
