Janet Whitworth
Biography
Over the last 34 years Janet has enjoyed a varied career and held a number of posts in central and regional government. These included Head of Corporate Services and interim Human Resources (HR) Director at the Department for Work and Pensions and HR Director at two Primary Care Trusts. She worked at the University of Cumbria from 2010 to 2016, first as Director of HR and then as Chief Operating Officer.
Janet is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a special interest in Mental Health and Wellbeing.
