Biography
Jenny Richardson was appointed as Director of Human Resources for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in August 2018.
Jenny’s previous roles include:
- Head of HR, Network Rail South East Route
- Deputy Director, Civil Service Talent, Cabinet Office
- HR Director, Department for Transport
Jenny is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Director, Human Resources
Part of DHSC’s senior leadership team and a member of DHSC’s Executive Committee, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for DHSC’s:

- people engagement
- capability
- talent management
- diversity and inclusion
- HR policies, operations and payroll
