Jeremy Moore
Biography
Jeremy Moore was appointed as the chair of BPDTS Ltd on 1 January 2019.
Jeremy Moore was a career civil servant until his retirement in 2016. During that time he worked at the Economic and Social Research Council, the Department for Education, HM Treasury and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
He was a non-executive director of the Student Loans Company for 4 years. His most recent job was as director-general for policy at the DWP, covering the full range of the department’s policy responsibilities. He was made a Companion of the Bath in 2016. Since retiring from public service he has joined the boards of the Learning and Work Institute and the Shaw Trust.

BPDTS’s board sets out the strategy and agrees how operational decisions are taken.
