Jo Morgan

Biography

Jo Morgan became National Director, Initial Teacher Education in October 2014. She is also Regional Director, North West.

Before working at Ofsted, Jo was a:

• qualified teacher who has held 3 secondary headships
• National Leader of Education
• strategic lead in the Greater Manchester Challenge
• local authority adviser in primary, secondary and special schools
• consultant for the National College for Teaching and for the Department for Education
• Head of a teaching school alliance

Jo holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship.
