Biography
Joel Bamford was appointed Executive Director for Mergers at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on 12 February 2024.
Joel is a member of the senior executive team and the Board, and leads the mergers function to ensure that the CMA delivers an efficient and robust merger control regime.
