Biography
John Fitzpatrick is the Digital Operations Director for the Government Digital Service (GDS), and was appointed in October 2024 on an interim basis. The Digital Operations Director looks after the day-to-day operations that underpin GDS. Before joining GDS, John was Director for Transformation at UK Security Vetting.
John’s experience includes delivering complex change and transformation projects, working across government departments including the Department for Work and Pensions, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defence.
