Jon Zeff

Biography

Jon Zeff became a director at DCMS in 2008.

Jon started his career in the Department of Employment. Since then, his career highlights have included:

• working on European Union social policy at the Department of Trade and Industry
• responsibility at DCMS for departmental strategy and broadcasting policy, as well as the National Lottery
• being DCMS Director of Media from 2008 to 2011, with responsibility for policy on the media and creative industries, including Digital Switchover and the TV licence fee
